My name is Rafael and I am the founder of Sandride Lima since 2012. I am a passionate traveler and sandboard guide. On my tour you will get a combination of adventures in the sand dune desert. You will have the opportunity to try sandboarding for the first time, or ride the hills if you are a snowboarder. I want to share with you everything I have learned in my life about this beautiful sport.

Arrival at our shop to try on boots, skis, and helmet.

Arrival at the dunes (4×4 ride across the dunes).

Warm-up run on dunes with minimal incline.

After training, we will ski down the real dunes with steep slopes.

Return to your hotel in Lima.

They have a lot of similarity. However, to sandboard we need to use wax on every descent and the sand mountains are equivalent to black diamond slopes in snowboarding.

Of course! Our instructors will tailor your lesson to your level and help you step-by-step so you can learn and practice safely.

The session will allow you to learn the basics and you can enjoy the experience in 2 hours. What you learn will help you on the snow, however, it wouldn’t hurt to take a snowboarding class.

About 2 hours

Yes, you can practice sandboarding in Lima all year round. In the winter months (June – September), we have mild weather with slightly wet sand, but don’t worry, we have a special type of wax for these conditions.

We have 4×4 SUVs available, such as: Land Cruiser Prado, Hilux, FJ Cruiser, among others.
