Sandboarding in Lima, the winter season is over. Don’t worry, this is not snow, it’s sand!

Lima is a geographically desert city, it offers one of the best scenarios for the practice of sandboarding in Peru. Sandride Experience is an original tour that uses a 4×4 truck as an instrument to reach the most suitable dunes for professional sandboarding.

If you are in Lima, you have a free day and do not want to travel 4 hours to Huacachina, enjoy one of the best tours in Lima, doing sandboarding in a professional manner as in the best Ski Resort in the world. You can enjoy a day in the desert full of fun. We start with what we call the baby dune, here your instructor will explain the basic techniques and start your sandboarding experience.

After finishing the practice, we descend between two to three times of high dunes, where our driver will wait at the bottom of the hill so that you do not have to climb again on foot. Our instructor will take care of the photos. Finishing this adventure, we return to our sandboard store to leave our equipment and can use the services before returning to your hotel.

• You will have an instructor with experience in snowboarding and sandboarding qualified, and you will have the professional team snowboards, boots, bindings and helmets,
• Enjoy a fun 4×4 ride through the dunes, on each climb to the top, with a professional driver,
• You will probably have the desert to yourself, unlike Huacachina which is full of tourists.

• your driver pick you up from your hotel or home, following the Panamericana Sur until you reach our sandboarding store.

• We will test the most suitable equipment for you, and you will receive an informative talk about the correct use of the sandboarding equipment to avoid any inconvenience.

• Ready.. we will leave from our sandboarding shop, towards the dunes of Chilca at km. 72.

• Arriving at the beginning of our tour, we will reduce the tire pressure, to enter the desert and reach our sandboarding park.

• Our instructor will take pictures and have free time before starting the tour, then continue with the necessary stretching to begin the session of sandboarding with small dunes, where they will learn the proper way to slow down and control the speed.

• You will ready to face big dunes and sandboard as the best for two or three descents, the 4×4 truck will take care of taking you to the top and the hike is not necessary.

• After that we will inflate the tires, and continue on our way to Lima with a stop at our sandboarding store to leave the equipment and share the photos of the tour. They may use the hygienic services.

• There are no refunds 24 hours before the date of the sandboarding tour.
• 50% will be refunded 48 hours before the start of your tour.
• 100% will be refunded 72 hours or more before the start of your tour.
• The sandboarding tour can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the start of the tour.
• Presenting the day of the tour while drunk or under the influence of drugs, automatically cancels your tour without refund.

• To receive the photographic material it is advisable to download the GoPro application, however, all the photographs will be published on our Facebook page Sandride Lima.
• The Sandride Experience private tour in Lima has a flexible schedule, let us know in advance if you want a tour at a different time than regular.
• The sandride Experience private tour in Lima has the option of choosing the location between Chilca or Lomas de Ancón in northern Lima.
• If you are a group of more than 8 people let us know in advance to provide a special rate.
• You are an experienced Snowboard-Ski runner, and need to make a documentary or photographic material please let us know to provide you with all the facilities.
• Between the months of June – August, the weather is cold and we have a little rain, for this we use liquid type wax, if what you are looking for is sun and enjoy the sunset we recommend taking the Paracas + Huacachina In One Day tour.

• Our Tour includes pick-up from your Hotel or apartment in the areas near Miraflores, Barranco and San Isidro. In case you need the pick-up from the airport, the price per trip is USD 25 and USD 40 for both routes.
